27-05-2009 - Interview with the winners

BESC: Your video was the voters' favourite clip this year on BESC. How about this news?
Inga: It's really nice! Thanks a lot, We are very happy to hear this!

BESC: Who did create the conception of the video?
Anush: The whole conception of the video belongs to the director David Babayan.

BESC: Did You have a desire or idea to realise in the clip?
Inga: Yes, the desire was to create a virus-dance and make people get infected with that:).

BESC: The scenes were filmed in various places, it makes the video more colourful. Are all these places in Armenia?
Anush: Yes, the shootings took place only in Armenia. And it IS colourful and bright, you should visit us someday! :)

BESC: How many days did it take to film Jan jan?

Inga: We did it in 4 shooting days.

BESC: Which was the most memorable moment these days?
Anush
: We worried about the bridge scene a lot and the most memorable moment was the one when we saw the dance on the bridge and realized that we got what we wanted.

BESC: We feel the clip gave another message to Your song: "come on, lazy people of modern world, couch potatoes, get up and do something exciting!". Are we right? :)
Inga: Haha:) Yes. It's all about colouring the gray daily life and do something bright alto
gether.

BESC: Did You watch Your competitors' videos? Did You have a favourite?
Anush: We watched all the videos and would like to mention Belguim, Lithuania, Ireland and Ukraine.

BESC: Could You tell us an interesting or funny story about the shooting?
Inga: Oh, there were so many of them... One of the funniest things is that the idea of the glowing instruments was born suddenly in the middle of the shootings - we didn't plan that, but it turns to be one of the most impressive moments of the clip:)

BESC: What do You think why Your video is so successful?
Anush
: Most people love this video because it's message is reachable to everyone.

Inga: It is a cheerful video, it shows unification and equality. Something like "all you need is love", and we express love by our dance.

BESC:Anything else You feel important about the clip?
Anush: Just one comment we receive the most: the more one watches the video, the more is the desire to watch it again. This is the most important thing for us:)

Thank You!
